"Heh. You can stay if you want, but I am what I am. This is what I've become, I can not reverse that." Gale bows his head as if he was about to fall asleep, but just stares at the ground.

Gale keeps looking at the ground. "Very well." He sits up and walks back to the jeep. He opens the glove compartment and takes out a map.

Rose, having heard part of the conversation, walks quietly from Gale and Laena. Spreading her wings, she takes off a couple feet off the ground. Moving silently through the air, she heads towards the building in a zig-zagging route. When she gets close enough that the trees may not provide enough cover, she stops and plans out her next move. The building still seems empty, but she can steadily sense a power unlike that of her own and that of her company's within the building. Deciding this must be power of good, she scowls and shifts unhappily on a tree branch. A twig stabs her in the leg, drawing blood. She flinches and stares at the cut, a small idea coming to mind.

Fifteen minutes later, a small ten year old girl with blonde hair and blue eyes emerges from the woods. She's covered in cuts and blood, near exhaustion. The girl slowly heads towards this building.

"Someone's on camera." The Angel spins in his chair to face another Angel who seems to be in charge of this particuler look-out.

The second Angel exams the screen. "Archdemon?"

The first Angel presses a few buttons and the screen turns blue for a moment. "Not enough of a dark aura. No."

The 2nd Angel sighs. "Then some kid decieded to wander in. Wonderful."

"So what do we do? Shoot it?"

The 2nd Angel frowns. "Of course not! What if it's human?"

"Then how do we get rid of it. Shall I call G-"

"No. We do not need Archs involved. They'll only get annoyed that we bothered them. Send someone out to get rid of the kid. If they prove to be dangerous then we'll take care of them."

The first Angel nods and leans back. "Hey Zeek, some kid is getting to close. Could you get them to leave? ...Good. The Angel turns to his superior. "Zeek is looking into it."

A voice comes from behind the girl, and a rather normal looking man smiles. "What are you doing so deep in the woods, little girl?"

Gale examines the map as he sits in the driver seat. "...That shouldn't be difficult."

Rose's innocent human eyes show relief when they view the man. "I got lost from my mom and dad....and something attacked me in the forest and it hurts so bad." A pretty talented actress, Rose's bottom lip quivers. "And I saw this building and I was hoping I could use a phone to call my mom and dad so they could come find me."

Zeek thinks for a moment. "Well I'm afraid I can't let you in there. Strict orders. Though I can bring out a phone for you if you want."

Gale puts the map and stares off for a moment. "Ashes, ashes, they all fall dead.."

Inside her mind, Rose curses. "I...guess..." Calling on all her acting skills, the girl seems to be dizzy. "Sir...if you don't mind...I think I'm going to..." The little human faints.

A brilliant green light appears before Laena and Gale, and from it, a Siren in true form emerges. The girl's face twists into a sneer upon seeing Laena, and she speaks in an ancient tongue.

Laena sighs slightly, and stands. "Are you here for me already, sister? It has not been nearly a week and you are already here to rip out my throat.."

After some minutes searching. Zeek finally reaches a storage room and grabs a cell phone. He walks back into the room. "Here's a-." Zeek sees that Rose is gone and frowns. "Zeek here, we got an intruder. If you see a little girl, aprehend but do not kill. We're not sure if it's a human." Zeek exits walks outside and scans the area. "We can't let this one escape. If anyone finds this place.."

"JESUS SON OF MARY!" Gale is obviously surpised by the sudden apperance of the Siren and falls out of the jeep. After a moment he jumps up with Sin in it's gun form aimed at her.

The siren glances at Gale, then shrieks with laughter. "Sister, you are willing to die for this foolish mortal? You will give up your entire life for five minutes of lust? I thought better of you, dear sister. I am sad to be so mistaken."

Laena frowns slightly. "I do not wish to live in eternity if I must feed off of others that I care for. Tell our sisters of this."

"Christ, what ever happend to brotherly love? Some family, not that I should talk." Gale keeps his gun trained on the Siren, but knows that firing would only get him in a fight he couldn't win.

The Siren is amused by Gale's courage.. or perhaps recklessness? Well, no matter. She screeches loudly, and Sin flies out of Gale's hands, morphing into a sword and thunking deeply into a nearby tree. She glances at Laena. "This is your last warning, sister. You know very well the consequences of your deeds." The Siren disappears in the green light from whence she came.

Laena sighs and sits back down on the ground,

Rose carefully opens a door. Finding it empty of Angels, she sits down at a computer. A rueful grin crosses her face. Rikali had thought that learning how to use a computer would be useless.

Luckily for her, it seems as though the room had just been left temporarily. The computer is still on. A couple minutes later, Rose leaves that room.

She continues copying computer information, often times spending many minutes trying to break through passwords. But she hadn't run into any Angels, which she found more and more disturbing. Deciding to break, she leans casually against a wall.

It would seem that the Angel's weren't inside at all. In fact, mos to them were in position on top of the buildings and patroling outside. That way they could spot the intruder trying to leave the city, making escape incrediably difficult.

Gale casually walks over to Sin and pulls it out of the tree and looks at Laena. "How long do we have before the rest come?"

An hour or so later, Rose has successfully finished copying the Angel's database. She walks towards a door when a thought strikes her. How is she going to get out with the walls gaurded? Chewing on her lip, she places the disk in a safe pocket. Her form shimmers, but remains human.

She sighs deeply and opens the door. Her human image melts from her like water. Wings spread she takes to the air and flies towards the forest with incrediable speed.

Almost imeadiately the Angels spot Rose and an alarm sounds throughout the city. Soon a group of Angels fly up and fires blasts of holy at the demon, trying to knock her out of the sky.

Despite the Demon's 'fall' the Angels do not let up and continue to pursue her. Also, much larger orbs of Holy begin to launch from the lookouts. The orbs act much like canonballs and eventually explode.

Rose screams in pain as one of the orbs nearly take off an arm. Her wing is completly gone, leaving a bloody wing bone behind, and she falls heavily into the canopy. Still going south from Gale, she moves with dying speed through the tree tops, trying to find someplace to hide.

That aura or power seems to explode outwards, protecting Rose and giving her strength. She leaps from branch to branch, tree to tree, despertly trying to get away.

The orbs stop firing once Rose escapes the sky above the city. Some angels continue after her however, and see her go into the trees. One turns to Zeek. "She dead?

"....No, her aura spiked up suddenly. Continue pursuit." The angels fly above the treelines but do not attack, they would not risk needless destruction of nature. Atleast not until they spotted the Demon.

"Yeah. We've got Siren's to deal with, I don't need Angels on top of that. Still, we're not going home yet. I rather not lead anyone back there." Gale hops into the driver seat. "Any ideas?"

Rose senses their aura. Stopping suddenly, she concentrates, knowing that they could sense her like she could them. "Please...let me change..." Concentrating like her father told her to so long ago, she manages to become human again. Blood pours in a river from her shoulder blade and arm.

She ducks under some branches and hopes that the Angel's leave soon. She stares unhappily at the blood. No idea how to mend wounds. The pain, explosive at first, was now a dull, steady throb, almost more then she can take. As her body goes into a numb state, her aura flickers and seems to disappear.

Zeek stops. "The aura is gone. If they aren't dead then they will be soon. We're no longer needed here." The Angel's cover themselves with their wings and disappear.

Gale makes a U-turn and drives for a minute until he's out of the woods. He then speeds up in the direction of Blythandor.

After a somewhat long drive Gale pulls up to Blythandor. The whole town is still leveled and looks the same as it did when Gale was there over a decade ago. "We're here."

Rose, around the same time, reaches the castle. Opening the door triumphantly, despite her pain and exhaustion, she cries out. "Gale! Gale! I did it!" She looks around. "Gale?"

When it becomes obvious that Gale isn't here, she finds some bandages and waits for his return.

Gale blinks and then lets out a laugh. "I suppose that's a good point. Though my comment was more to make sure you didn't regard me as scum." Gale looks around. "I wonder where the lab was."
